Enjoy your morning coffee on the front porch as you watch the deer graze; we have multiple families of deer that frequent the property.
If you are looking for the perfect escape you're going to love the space and location. Quiet and conveniently located, oh, and Wimberley is a Designated Dark Sky Community.
The Space
Relax after a long day of shopping or one of the areas wine tours in your private hot tub complete with bistro lighting, table with 4 chairs, and outdoor shower.

COMMON/SHARED PATIO WITH BISTRO LIGHTING:
When you rent the Bunk House @ Hideaway Oaks you have the entire home to yourself as well as access to the common/shared back patio of the workshop which is the middle of the three buildings (not the workshop itself) compete with table and chairs and a large ceiling fan. The roughly 50 year old 8' smoker, original to the old BBQ restaurant that used to be on the property, is soon to be reburbished but is temporarily out of service
We also have a vintage 1960 Coke machine on the shared patio. Help yourselves to the drinks in the Coke machine, they are complimentary!

Groceries
Want your rental to be set up with initial groceries? We can work with the local grocery chain (for a reasonable fee) to have provisions (you place the order) stocked for your arrival.
You simply place your order with HEB (local grocer) for their delivery service and we will have a member of our team meet the driver, receive your oder and stock it in the rental for you awaiting your arrival.

You would be doing a disservice to yourself if you did not stay here.
This was a perfect honeymoon location for me and my husband. The place was beautiful, very cozy and felt like home. Stephanie and Bruce were EXTREMELY responsive and helpful when it came to answering questions. They also gave us a sweet surprise by providing us with a beautiful card and bottle of wine, congratulating us on our marriage. I have already recommended this place to our friends and family. You would be doing a disservice to yourself if you did not stay here.

I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Wimberley
My husband and I booked at the last minute and were so excited when we arrived. It was cozy, inviting, extremely clean, and we didn’t want to leave. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else in Wimberley now. We will definitely be back.

Anniversary/getaway, and we loved it!
My husband and I booked this for our anniversary/getaway, and we loved it! It was close to everything but set back enough where there is privacy. We enjoyed all the deer that came up as well
The bed was SO COMFORTABLE!
We LOVED our little cabin. It was absolutely perfect for us in every way. Last year we made our anniversary trip Wimberley, and we loved it so much we returned for our anniversary again this year. The bunkhouse was just perfect! The bed was SO COMFORTABLE! It is located directly across from Market Days, which made it extremely convenient. The ONLY downside was how tiny the fridge is. There wasnt even a tiny freezer so we couldnt keep ice. Other than that, it was perfect. We will definitely be staying again! From the Owners: We just upgraded the fridge to a larger fridge/freezer combo unit thanks to your great feedback !!

Perfect stay, great location
Our stay was fantastic!! The property was very clean and quiet. Close enough to town to enjoy Whimberley, but far enough away to feel like you were out in the country.
The little family of deers outside is an absolutely wonderful surprise when we arrived!
